Psychotherapy or Coaching ?

It is important to know the two main differences between psychotherapy and coaching.

Duration

Coaching is short-term support, with a maximum of 10-12 sessions. Gestalt therapy refers to long-term therapies. It can last from a few months to several years. 

Query

In coaching, we clearly define the scope of the request and set specific goals that we will strive to achieve. In therapy, the request is usually more general and there are no goals to achieve. Changes in life happen gradually and are reflected in a changed quality of life. It is a deeper work on yourself.
